Hubsan H107D FPV / Using video out from H107D controller
« Last post by JTS on March 08, 2016, 10:11:20 PM »
I recently bought the Quanum DIY goggles and had to figure out how to get the H107D controller to work with goggles without using an extra video receiver.

Get a normal 3 pole stereo headphone cable (the type with 2 black rings on the shaft, not the Apple type).
Cut off one connector and strip the wires of the headphone cable and a RCA phono cable. Connect the shielding of the two cables together and then connect the wire coming from the center ring on the headphone cable (right audio) to the signal wire of the RCA cable. If you don't see video you've connected the left audio wire by mistake: it doesn't matter because the Hubsan controller doesn't use it. Twisting the wires together works but soldering is better.

Unlike a lot of other devices, connecting video-out doesn't turn off the Hubsan screen. I was hoping it would (to save batteries): I might put a switch in.

FPV with goggles is a very different experience from looking at the screen!

MyX4 H107c has the right front (B) motor that is slow and cutting out.  Have prop guard on and checked it and prop .. Motor is last to start and first to stop.  Any ideas?

Been awhile since any posts here but I'll ask anyway. Hopefully the good doctor will reply.
Any chance on Cali-Bros carrying 3 leaf propellers for the H107L?

Hubsan H107C 2MP HD / No more recording after crash :( Fixable?
« Last post by nunodonato on May 05, 2015, 01:17:42 PM »
Hi all!

So after a violent crash and a whole night in the rain, I finally rescued my Hubsan from a neighbor's rooftop. To my amazement, after replacing the fans and fixing the legs, it was still flying as usual! Great stuff :)

Sad news is that I came to find out that it stopped recording :(
I tried taking it apart to check for some bad connection but eveything seems normal. I also checked the SD card in my laptop, and it still works fine and my previous videos are there.

Any hints on what to do from here?

Would it be possible to buy a non-HD hubsan and then switch the cameras?
I bought this one specifically because of the HD video and now I can't record :(
Hubsan H107C 2MP HD / h107c FPV mod?
« Last post by cranklin on March 25, 2015, 10:22:28 PM »
I was wondering if any of you guys knew how to mod the h107c for FPV flight (either using the onboard camera + external tx or using the h107d camera board).  I'm asking because I noticed somebody on youtube managed to do this, but didn't explain how (or where he soldered the video signal connection on the h107c camera board).  Thanks in advance.
Hubsan H107C 2MP HD / Re: Wide Angle Lens on 107C

I would like to hear about the details on the clean mod. This looks great! I like the clear props ! (note to Cali-Bros to stock). I did not even see that CB sold the wide angle. I would love to get a couple for my 107C's. I am working on a 3d printed clip that would allow the fisheye & the wide angle to be easily interchangeable.

Hello everyone, glad I found this site.

Assistance requested: I have recorded video that I can play back on the transmitter/controller just fine. I move the SD card to the computer and it sees the .avi file. Issue is it won't play back with windows media center or with DivX Player application on Vista. Any suggestions?
